The Aztec Fall Festival and Car Show takes over Minimum Park this Saturday, October 10th. The day kicks off with a parade at 9:00 AM followed by the festival and car show from 10:00 AM to 5:00. Come admire more than 100 cars that will be on display, along with live music, food trucks, artists and vendors, kids’ activities, and a cornhole competition. The Farmington High and PV varsity boys and girls soccer teams face off on Wednesday afternoon at the Hutch. The boys teams will face off at four while the girls will play at six. This is an essential matchup for both the Lady Scorps and the Lady Panthers, as both have had a phenomenal season and hope to cement their claim as one of the top teams in the district. The Farmington Library hosts singer-songwriter, Sarah McQuaid, on Wednesday, October 7th at 6:0 PM as part of their Cottonwood concert series. McQuaid, who was born in Spain, raised in Chicago, and now lives in rural England, performs on acoustic and electric guitar and keyboards. Her shows mix quiet ballads, playful blues, and instrumental pieces. She has built a following in both the US and in Europe.
