– Hey, this year’s Original Thinkers is gonna be knockout. I’m David Holbrooke. I’m the founder and ringleader of this festival that happens every first week in October, right when the leaves are peaking. It’s an ideas festival. We’re looking at ideas through the prism of art, speakers, film, experience. It’s so exciting. Our festival’s primarily headquartered in the library. We’ll have all kinds of events going through there, including a couple of great authors, really great sessions with them, these films. And if you look at it, it’s just the unexpected. Original Thinkers is really living up to its name this year, and that’s so much of the program is gonna feel like, “Hey, I’ve never done that before.” And that’s really fun from my perspective to put together, and I think really exciting for people who come to it. And we’re designed to be affordable, we’re designed to be immersive, we’re designed to be experiential. And I really hope people will tune into what we’re doing. Passes are available at originalthinkers.com or come to the box office, which is at the Patagonia store right on Main Street. But a lot’s gonna be happening throughout this upcoming weekend. And that’s what’s so cool about art and experience and film and Original Thinkers is that it engages you in just a completely different way.
