Road work season has begun, with San Juan County repaving Road 6480 thanks to a $2 million grant. The project, which started two weeks ago, will proceed in three phases, each lasting 2-3 weeks, with detours and closures from 7:00 A.M. to 5:00 P.M. Join the Aztec Museum and Pioneer Village’s summer concerts every second Friday, starting June 7th and continuing through October 8th. For dog owners, the Durango Kennel Club offers a rattlesnake avoidance clinic on June 1st, teaching dogs to identify and avoid rattlesnakes. By Hannah Robertson.
