Farmington Considers 2026 Budget

The City of Farmington’s proposed budget for fiscal year 2026 is available for public review. What do you think of its spending priorities? Farmington City Council will hold a public hearing on the proposed city budget for fiscal year 2026. At its July 8th meeting, city manager Rob Mays will present the budget to counselors and the public. The city predicts $66 million in revenue and $87 million in expenditures in fiscal year 26. The regular city council meeting on July 8th begins at 5:00 PM at Farmington City Hall. Located 800 Municipal Drive, the public can view preliminary budget documents@ftn.org. The National Ballets with a Twist company is bringing its latest show to Farmington this September cocktail hour. The show features Bloody Mary Manhattan, mocktail Roy Rogers, and more as the drink themed characters perform modern vignettes. The show claims to capture the timeless American spirit in a series of sparkling vignettes. The fun, fast-paced show is family friendly and features original choreography, music and costume design. The show is a part of the San Juan College Artist series and takes place at the Henderson Fine Art Center on September 5th at 7:00 PM Tickets range from 10 to $25 and are available at San Juan College DO edu. Citizens Bank opened its newly constructed main office on June 9th. The local bank has operated in San Juan County for 120 years. Its six locations and nine ATMs. Make it the largest locally owned community bank in San Juan County and one of the largest in the state of New Mexico.
