Durango Transit Services will offer free public transportation This summer, the True Western Rodeo Series starts back up and don’t miss the Annual Gardens tour. June 1st through August 31st. Durango Transit Services and Evening Durango service will be free of charge. Durango is a micro transit service that operates on a first come first serve basis. Ride free every evening from 5:00 PM to midnight. Daytime rides for Durango are available but are not a part of the free fare program. These programs encourage the use of public transportation and reduce traffic congestion. For additional details, visit durango transit.com. Rodeo fans Get ready. The true Western Roundup rodeos are back for the summer. June 4th marks the first rodeo of the summer long series at the La Plata County Fairgrounds.
