Business owners and community leaders gathered in Aztec on Friday, June 5, for the State of Aztec Breakfast, an event hosted by the Aztec Chamber of Commerce to give local residents a look at what’s happening in the city and the surrounding region. Speakers from across San Juan County provided updates on economic growth and the region’s future.
The recurring message from the podium was that the four corners area is a strong place to live and do business. Speakers called on residents from different towns in San Juan County to work together and said opportunities in the region are plentiful. One of the event’s central themes was keeping young people in the community by continuing to grow the local economy.
